Who Can Attend?
Training is free to any freelance graphics operators not currently working for a customer on a full-time basis. Contact Greg Lennon (glennon@rossvideo.com) to confirm further availability.

Don't Forget!
All attendees should bring a personal computer that meets the following requirements:

• Windows 7 or 10 required
• Microsoft Office install with Microsoft Excel is recommended
• An nVidia GPU preferred
• 2-3Gb of RAM

Laptop requirements: https://youtu.be/oFStwHItFu8

Ahead of the training, you can begin to familiarize yourself with some of the XPression functionality by watching some of the hundreds of videos available on the Ross Video XPression U site: https://www.rossvideo.com/xpression-u

In addition to the training, each student will receive a dongle and software for XPression Designer, the offline creation edition of XPression. This version is not capable of outputting live video, but it will render graphics to a pixel accurate virtual output on your VGA screen. This will allow you to work with XPression at home to sharpen your skills and eventually do pre-build work for live programs.

If you have attended an XPression class in the past but your dongle is licensed for an older version of XPression, please follow the following steps and we will update your license to the most recent version:

1. Download the XPression Licensing Tool from this link:
https://transfer.rossvideo.com/f/99d2a7dfaed62a42
2. Install the XPression Licensing Tool.
3. Plug your USB dongle into your computer.
4. Ensure that no XPression programs are currently running.
5. Run the XPression Licensing Tool.
6. Send a screen shot (or email the hardware ID of your dongle) to glennon@rossvideo.com
7. We will update our license servers and email you instructions on how to update your dongle remotely.
